On the 26th June 2010 Professor Mark Hull from the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine at St James University Hospital will be attempting an 85-mile endurance walk on the Isle of Man called the Parish Walk (see http://www.parishwalk.com if interested) in aid of CORE. He has 24 hours to try and complete it!

Research into conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation and acid reflux does not often get the attention that research that concentrates on cancer, heart disease or arthritis gets. He actually sits on the Committee that awards research grants so he knows at first hand what deserving work can be funded. Therefore, he would like to do his bit for them.
 
The past two Presidents of the British Society of Gastroenterology have raised £2000 and £6000 for CORE.
