Core Annual Research Meeting 2011

Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

Wednesday 30th November 2.30 to 6pm.

Core's Annual Research Meeting showcases the excellent research work that we have been able to fund. As in previous years, the projects being presented cover a wide range of topics in gastroenterology.

Dr Chrisopher Smith, Cambridge University Clinical Lecturer in Virology and Managing Editor, The Naked Scientists, will open the meeting.

The occasion will be an opportunity to meet several of Core's researchers and award winners and to hear brief presentations on their current projects.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions after each presentation.  These sessions will be chaired by Professor Lawrence Young, Chair of Core's Research Awards Committee, and Professor Jean Crabtree, Trustee in charge of Core's Research Awards programme.

The event will start at 2.30pm and is expected to last until around 6pm.  Afternoon tea and closing drinks and canapes will be provided, although you are welcome to come and go as you please throughout the afternoon.
